Terms of use
TalentIQ is in private beta and available by invitation. These terms say what we provide, what a customer agrees to, and what is not promised yet.
Last reviewed against the product on 2 October 2026
Draft. Not reviewed by a lawyer and not in force. The commercial and legal details below are marked where the team has to decide them.
Who may use it
Access is by invitation. Accounts are created for named people at a customer organisation; they are not transferable, and sharing credentials is not permitted. An invitation to join a workspace may be issued by anyone the customer has given that right to, and a person accepting one joins that workspace only.
What we provide
A platform that collects public professional information, scores it against a customer’s open roles, and manages the pipeline and the approach to those candidates. During the beta it is provided as it stands, with no uptime commitment and no guarantee that a given feature will remain.
What a customer agrees to
- Use candidate data for recruitment only. Not for credit, insurance, background screening, or any decision outside hiring for the roles in the workspace.
- Honour a removal request. If a candidate asks to be removed, that request is passed to us and the record is deleted, for every workspace that holds it.
- Not export the candidate pool to another product, resell it, or share a workspace with an organisation that is not the customer.
- Keep review links within the hiring team. A link gives its holder a shortlist; the customer is responsible for who they send it to.
- Not attempt to circumvent the guardrails — the claim rules, the sending ceilings, or the consent gate on contact details.
Who owns what
The customer owns what they put in: their roles, their notes, their decisions, and their hiring outcomes. We own the platform, the scoring model and the aggregated, anonymised statistics used to improve it. A customer may export their own workspace data at any time.
Ending it
Either side may end the arrangement at any time during the beta. On termination the customer’s workspace data is deleted within 30 days of a request, and candidate records that exist only for that workspace go with it.
What is not promised
A match score is an estimate from public information, not advice and not a prediction. Every hiring decision is the customer’s. The platform does not guarantee that a profile is accurate, current, or that a person is open to a move.
Still to be decided
To be filled in before publication: the registered entity and its address; fees and payment terms; the limitation of liability; the governing law and jurisdiction; and the notice period for a change to these terms.
